L&M performs RoHS compliant Conversion Coating to aluminum surfaces using ALODINE 5200*, a hexavalent chromium free substitute for ALODINE 1200*.  These coatings are designed to create an excellent base for bonding of adhesives and organic finishes.

ALODINE 5200* is an widely used, environmentally responsible alternative commonly selected by Government procurement agencies as well as defense manufacturers to eliminate Hexavalent Chromium from their products.

Our Wash & Etch process removes excess machining and stamping fluids, which improves both cosmetic appeal as well as weldability (specifically designed to improve robotic weldability for automotive components).
